Bus riders don't count?

The JS did a nice wrap-up yesterday on the smash-and-grab tax and fee increases approved by the Legislature and Gov. Doyle to support the mad paving plans of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

There were big increases in county bus fares and cuts in the routes as well, but our local newspaper was silent on those. There are lots and lots of bus riders out there -- wonder why they are so invisible to some folks.

Well, if MSJ reported about the bus fare hikes and transit cuts, people would figure out that Walker is raising taxes, and being a weasel, and the MSJ doesn't want to harm their darling boy Scooter.

Thanks for letting me know about the bus fare hikes and transit cuts. Do you have a link to the transit data?
